Project Description:
Development of an eLearning course comprised of two modules: Photo Line-Ups and Facial Recognition, for both a civilian and sworn employee audience within CPS. Course content is built upon best practices, recent and relevant case law, case studies, and CPS policy. Authoring tool: Articulate Rise.

Module 1: Sequential Photo Line-Ups - Course Objectives:
- Describe critical practices when conducting photo line-ups.
- Explore historic eyewitness misidentifications and miscarriages of justice.
- Explain the Sophonow inquiry and resulting procedure.
- Detail the CPS photo line-up procedure as described in policy.
Module 2: Facial Recognition - Course Objectives:
- Define facial recognition in Canada.
- Explore facial recognition use and law enforcement.
- Describe facial recognition technology and how it works.
- Detail the CPS facial recognition procedure and guidelines.
