Project Description:
Development of an eLearning course for recruits and in-service members of CPS, and available to law enforcement agencies across Canada including federal employees. This course is a key component of recruit training and relates to several other lessons and assessments. A PowerPoint presentation, lesson plan and group activities were also developed as part of this project. Authoring tool: Articulate Rise.

Course Objectives:
- Explain the difference between a Hate Crime and a Hate Incident
- List the Criminal Code sections related to Hate Crimes
- Describe the impact Hate Crimes have on victims and the larger community
- Determine indicators of a Hate Crime or Incident
- Summarize the investigative process of a Hate Crime
